Anyone going to PAX this year? I will be volunteering as an enforcer...so you better watch it.

Penny Arcade is what brought up "The Guild" awareness for me. I am a SUPER Penny Arcade nerd, BUT have never been to PAX! I HAVE donated to Child's Play though. I also have saved every comic strip from their very first in late 1998, organized into folders by year on my computer, and I have transferred all of those to the Pictures section of my PSP so I can read the comic anytime I want. I've read through every comic from 1998 to the present day at least three times, and have revisited some years more than others - I think from maybe 2004 or 2005 on is my favorite. I like to read their comics before I go to sleep, just lazily going through a year or six months on my PSP before drifting off (this is how I've read all their strips so many times, ha ha...) I don't read it ALL the time, but boy I tell ya, I sure love them, ha ha! I make many passing references to various strips when "appropriate," though sometimes those I am with have NO idea what I am referring to when I want to talk about the Fleshreaper or make comments regarding Mr. Period, or any other relevant bits. I definitely am a Penny Arcade nerd, though I am sorry to say I don't own much of their printed work, and while I have both episodes of "Rain-Slick Precipice" I've only gotten through "Episode One" in its entirety. No worries, though - working on "Episode Two," OH yes... =D
