Where to look for Season 6 news?

Is there some good place to watch for news on Season 6? Is it being created/picked up? Are they filming it? When will it come out? Etc, etc, etc.

Nothing's out afaik. I'm sure that they'll tweet about it as soon as they are picked up, so following @theguild on Twitter is probably a good way to be sure to hear the news.

Heh, I can see what you mean, though I am not associated with the show in any other way than being a fan. I don't think the makers of the show go to these forums very often, if at all, but they do use Twitter and probably read the tweets they get.

Here's the things (I think) I know:

- It's the intention of the makers to continue the show. FD has said that she still have stories to tell. Personally, I could see some fun places for it to go. She's also talked about changing the format a bit, but I don't know what that would involve.

- They own the show themselves, so even if Microsoft decides to drop it, it wouldn't be game over like when Fox cancels your favourite show. They can still go and look for other sponsors.

- It was february last year, when it was made official that season 5 was picked up by Microsoft.

I've been wondering about this myself. I really hope that it keeps going. There's something about watching your favorite show come to an end that leaves a certain emptiness inside lol

FYI the actors and crew do frequent the forums from time to time. On occasion you can catch them in the chat room. Felicia shows up the most under the name "The Guild" to drop news on us. Also many people involved in the behind the scenes action are there from time to time.

Thanks for all the tips and info! Unfortunately between work, fatherhood and learning building techniques and self-sufficiency skills (ok, ok, I started with brewing...but it counts!) I don't have any time really for web socializing :(. I'll keep an eye out!

Haha, just checked it. The last time "the guild" made a post on the forums was over 2 years ago, so I stand by that Twitter is probably the place to go :P. Lets face it, these forums are pretty quiet in general. The chat room is another thing imo.
